Villagers in Wookey Hole are being encouraged to show their crafty side at the village fete.
Lucy White, who is helping to organise the fete said: "There is such a wealth of creative talent in Wookey Hole that this year, instead of the usual summer fete, artists and craftsmen in and around the village are invited to show their work, while local musicians will be playing folk music and the church will be filled with flowers."
Seven folk and acoustic acts will be performing at the fete during the afternoon
Paintings, embroidery, jewellery, textiles and hand-made designer costumes will be among the work on offer, and strawberry teas will be served all afternoon. For children, a number of art activities, such as decorating a mask, are planned.
The fete will be held on Saturday, July 31, in Wookey Hole church and garden, starting at 2pm.
